FEELING SLEEPY
Feeling Sleepy is here to make life easier by helping all parents struggling with the perennial problem of getting small children to sleep. Parents who, in the current pandemic, may also have been struggling with lockdown, home schooling and not getting enough time or sleep themselves.
The book is based on simple relaxation techniques to help promote a sense of calm. Children are encouraged to copy the animal babies who take children on a journey through some very basic meditation principles. These help to unbusy the brain and prepare children for the night ahead. Meditation also boosts melatonin which aids sleep. There is a gradual shift of relaxing colours through the book with touch-and-feel elements that help to soothe but don’t overstimulate.
